How Laminae 911 Supports Horses With Laminitis
One of the biggest challenges when managing laminitis in horses is supporting the entire horse—not just the hoof. Laminae 911 is a comprehensive Laminitis Horse Supplement formulated to nutritionally support healthy blood flow, immune function, digestive health, and healthy hoof tissue. By supporting the body’s natural healing processes, Laminae 911 helps maintain healthier, stronger hooves while providing nutritional support for horses experiencing laminitis, founder, hoof tenderness, or recovery from hoof stress.
Benefits
- Horses experiencing laminitis
- Horses with founder
- Tender-footed horses
- Thin-soled horses
- Horses transitioning to barefoot
- Weather-related hoof soreness
- Hoof wall integrity
- Healthy circulation to the hoof
- Strong, healthy laminae
- Natural recovery from hoof stress
- Overall immune and digestive support
Equine Challenge Laminae 911 Laminitis Hoof Supplement is formulated to help your horse’s compromised hoof tissue to heal more quickly. Laminae 911 herbal support helps build strong, healthy laminae. It is not just the hoof but the many other systems which support the hooves such as the immune system, the circulatory system, the gastro-intestinal system and organ support such as the kidney, bladder and liver. While providing both anti-inflammatory, anti-pyretic (fever) and analgesic relief in a more natural way, without the negative aspects of NSAIDs and Bute use.
Why Healthy Circulation Matters for Hoof Recovery
Circulation delivers oxygen and essential nutrients to the sensitive tissues while flushing out metabolic waste. Because horse hooves are continually generating new horn from the inside out, robust blood flow is the key factor in recovering from injury, growing strong horn, and preventing future damage.
Herbal Ingredients That Support Hoof Health

Kidney and Bladder diuretic support via Juniper Berry and Uva Ursi (Bear Berry). Liver support via Oregon Grape. Anti-inflammatory, Anti-Pyretic (fever) and Analgesic support via White Willow Bark, Devil’s Claw, Oregon Grape, Garlic, Boswellia, Quercitin and Boneset.
Understanding Laminitis in Horses and Nutritional Support
Laminitis is one of the most challenging hoof conditions horse owners can face. It occurs when the sensitive and insensitive laminae—the tissues that securely attach the hoof wall to the coffin bone—become inflamed or damaged. Because these tissues support the horse’s weight with every step, even mild inflammation can result in significant discomfort and affect mobility.
Laminitis is not a disease itself but rather a condition with many possible causes. Horses may develop laminitis due to metabolic disorders such as Equine Metabolic Syndrome (EMS) or Pituitary Pars Intermedia Dysfunction (PPID or Cushing’s disease), excessive consumption of non-structural carbohydrates (NSC) from lush pasture or grain, systemic illness, retained placenta after foaling, obesity, or excessive concussion on hard ground. Understanding and addressing the underlying cause is one of the most important steps in developing an effective management plan.
Early signs of laminitis may include reluctance to move, a shortened stride, shifting weight from one foot to another, increased digital pulse, warm hooves, or the classic “sawhorse” stance as the horse attempts to reduce pressure on painful feet. Prompt veterinary evaluation is essential whenever laminitis is suspected. Early diagnosis and appropriate management can significantly improve long-term outcomes.
Successful laminitis management typically requires a comprehensive approach rather than relying on any single treatment. Your veterinarian and farrier play critical roles in developing a plan that may include corrective trimming or shoeing, weight management, dietary adjustments, controlled exercise when appropriate, and ongoing monitoring of your horse’s overall health. For many horses, carefully managing sugar and starch intake while maintaining a balanced forage-based diet becomes a lifelong commitment.
Nutrition
Nutrition also plays an important role in supporting normal hoof growth and overall wellness. Healthy hooves require a consistent supply of quality protein, essential amino acids, vitamins, trace minerals, and other nutrients to support the continuous production of new hoof tissue. Because a horse’s hoof grows slowly, improvements in hoof quality often take several months to become visible, making consistency an important part of any nutritional program.
Many horse owners also choose herbal supplements as part of their horse’s overall wellness program. Botanical ingredients have long been used to provide nutritional support for healthy circulation, antioxidant activity, immune function, and general well-being. While nutritional supplements are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease, they can be a valuable part of a veterinarian-directed management plan designed to support the horse’s natural health.
Laminae 911 was developed to provide targeted nutritional support for horses requiring additional hoof and metabolic support. Its carefully selected herbal ingredients are intended to complement a comprehensive management program by supporting healthy circulation, hoof integrity, digestive health, and overall wellness. When combined with proper veterinary care, balanced nutrition, appropriate hoof care, and thoughtful management practices, nutritional support can help horses maintain healthier hooves and improved quality of life.
Every horse is unique, and recovery timelines can vary depending on the severity of the condition, the underlying cause, and the consistency of management. Working closely with your veterinarian and farrier while providing a balanced nutritional program gives your horse the best opportunity to maintain healthy hoof growth and long-term soundness.
At Equine Challenge Supplements, we believe that supporting the whole horse is the foundation of lasting hoof health. That’s why Laminae 911 is designed to work alongside proper nutrition, professional hoof care, and sound management practices to help your horse thrive—not just recover.

I have two horses that I ordered Laminae 911 for, and may be feeding to another one of mine after the results I’ve seen. I can definitely tell when I don’t feed it for a day or two. They both have feet issues (thin soles, white line) and one I suspect has PSSM after a tie up episode earlier this year. They had improved with some diet changes, but the Laminae 911 has made a huge difference in muscle fluidity and hoof tenderness. I’ve been able to start light work, considering they were sitting for 4 years due to all the issues, that’s a big improvement! Thanks Again!

Hi Kathy. Prayer to God and this second packet of 911 seems to have really kicked in for Shasta as he is literally kicking up his heels (with all his weight on his front feet!) As the weather gets colder I hope this continues and will certainly update my vet re 911. Thank you thank you for continuing your and Mackie’s great products.
