Natural Respiratory Support for Horses

Healthy lungs are essential for every horse, whether they’re competing, trail riding, breeding, or simply enjoying pasture life. Every breath delivers oxygen needed for muscle performance, recovery, immune function, and overall wellness. When the respiratory system is challenged by dust, pollen, mold spores, poor air quality, or seasonal allergens, horses may experience coughing, heavier breathing, reduced stamina, or decreased comfort.

At Equine Challenge Supplements, our philosophy centers on supporting the horse’s natural health through high-quality ingredients and forage-specific nutrition. Every horse deserves nutritional support that complements sound management practices and promotes long-term wellness.

Whether your horse competes regularly, enjoys recreational riding, or simply needs additional respiratory support during seasonal changes, Equestrine provides nutritional support designed to help maintain healthy breathing and respiratory comfort.

Premium Herbal Respiratory Support

Equestrine is a premium Horse Respiratory Supplement formulated to support normal respiratory health, healthy immune function, and overall lung wellness. Rather than simply masking symptoms, the carefully selected botanical ingredients are intended to support the body’s natural respiratory defenses as part of a complete management program.

Equestrine is manufactured without unnecessary fillers and is designed to become part of a consistent daily wellness program. Respiratory support often requires time, and continuous use over several weeks may provide the greatest benefit as part of a veterinarian-guided care plan.

Equestrine can take time to build up to therapeutic levels and to do its healing work. A minimum course of 2-3 months is recommended for best results.

Benefits of Equestrine

Many horses benefit from additional respiratory support, including:

  • Horses housed in barns with dusty hay or bedding
  • Performance horses working in arenas
  • Horses exposed to seasonal pollen
  • Older horses needing ongoing respiratory support
  • Horses living in smoky, humid, or dusty climates

Environmental management remains one of the most important parts of maintaining respiratory health. Feeding low-dust forage, improving ventilation, soaking or steaming hay when appropriate, and minimizing airborne irritants can all help reduce respiratory stress. Nutritional support can complement these management practices.

Support Healthy Respiratory Function Naturally

Equestrine features Funtumia elastica, a botanical with a long history of traditional use for respiratory wellness. Research has identified antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, immune-modulating, and antifungal properties that may help support normal respiratory function and healthy airways.

Because respiratory tissues are constantly exposed to environmental irritants, supporting a balanced immune response is important for long-term lung health. Healthy respiratory function contributes to improved comfort during exercise, efficient oxygen exchange, and overall performance.

Why Horse Owners Choose Respiratory Supplements

Horse owners commonly choose respiratory supplements for horses that experience:

  • Seasonal allergies
  • Environmental dust exposure
  • Mild coughing associated with irritants
  • Reduced exercise tolerance
  • Long-term respiratory maintenance

My Morgan mare Savvy has summer pasture allergies and when the hot and humid weather arrives she begins to wheeze. I start her on Equestrine when I notice breathing difficulties and it really helps. Right now she is on two pills once a day and she is breathing normally. I will go to two twice a day when the weather worsens. I find that if I run out she immediately starts to breathe heavily again. I like that it is totally natural as well. Kathy T.
